The winner of the 2012 CONNI Award is Elizabeth Thomas from Victoria. The award was presented during the the National Continence Foundation of Australia conference held in Brisbane. (see photo with Managing Director of CONNI, Glenys Drayton). Elizabeth is a Senior Clinical Nurse Consultant working in a multidiciplinary team in a dynamic, clinical and research based unit at the Mercy Hospital for Women in Victoria.

Elizabeth is strongly involved in furthering knowledge for continence through educating clients, mentoring nurses, and presenting at and attending conferences locally, nationally, and internationally. She has contributed to several peer-reviewed publications. In 2012 Elizabeth was nominated as Nurse of the Year and was an adjunct lecturer at La Trobe University. 

Elizabeth will be attending ICS in Barcelona in 2013.
